We should be looking at Wisconsin in horror because the first of the new Corporate States of America is coming about. It won't be by a war with England, or a revolution against tyranny, and it isn't out of a desire for freedom that will make this happen, it will be the sell out of the American people by crony politicians at the bidding of the corporate community.

Give the wealthy and the corporations a six figure millions of dollars in tax breaks, and make it up with similar increase in taxes, and pay cuts to public employees, is good for who? Good for kids which are now even more packed into crowded classrooms, lack of police to keep streets safe, and firemen, who run into burning buildings as occupants run out, as well as our public works infrastructure? And, this is just in Wisconsin, shouldn't their taxes be increased, shouldn't Exxon be paying taxes? According to a Reuters News Service article, "Most U.S. and foreign corporations doing business in the United States avoid paying any federal income taxes, despite trillions of dollars worth of sales." These same companies don't pay much in state taxes either.

Corporations have the money, they control the markets, and the dictate the prices we pay for everything from gas to hamburger meat. Why do health insurance companies have such huge profits, google articles on people who filed and were told NO! Their brothers in the drug/pharmaceutical business charge outrages high dollar prices for meds/pills made in Puerto Rico for ten cents a piece. We live in controlled markets, even the Saudis have told us the Wall Street investment/speculator is pushing up gas prices why would we disbelieve them, just because they are Muslims?

This society is changing and no matter what your education, we all may end up slinging hash and hamburgers at Micky D's. Why, because now many major international and national corporations payrolls are being slashed, positions cut, and departments sent overseas to those in the world savvy in technology, and degreed but willing to work, in their own country for a salary even if high for their native country - is cheap compared to the pay here. And, no insurance, no heath care, no safety standards, no pollution controls, etc.

Now, with the backing of the Republican party (Democrats are not much better but now they have a chance to prove who they really represent), the corporate/wealthy have managed to cut their taxes to the bone, if not completely out, and engineer the average American to pick up the slack. Now that Wisconsin has allowed the Republicans to lie their way into office and destroy, in the name of fiscal responsibility, the bargaining rights of people to keep up with the inflation they set, this will quickly spread to other Republican states.
